TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Breeding Grounds, including the vehicle breeding service, user accounts, community features and paid breeding credits.
IMPORTANT
Breeding Grounds is an AI-powered creative service. Vehicle images, names, specifications and other generated content are created for entertainment, creative and digital collectible purposes. AI output can vary and should not be treated as a guarantee of real-world vehicle performance, engineering suitability, roadworthiness or manufacturer approval.
Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable UK law.
1. ABOUT BREEDING GROUNDS
“Breeding Grounds”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the Breeding Grounds website and service.

These Terms apply whenever you access or use Breeding Grounds, create an account, use the breeding service, publish content or purchase breeding credits.
2. USING THE SERVICE
You must use Breeding Grounds lawfully and responsibly. You must not:
- use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or harmful activity;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems, APIs or data;
- interfere with, overload or reverse engineer the service except where the law expressly permits it;
- upload content that you do not have the right to use;
- use the service to impersonate another person or organisation; or
- use automated methods to abuse, scrape or deliberately circumvent service limits or payment controls.
3. ACCOUNTS
You are responsible for providing accurate account information and keeping your login details secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless that activity results from our failure to apply reasonable security measures.
We may suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users, our systems or our legal rights, including where these Terms are seriously or repeatedly breached.
4. BREEDING CREDITS
Breeding credits are digital usage credits for the Breeding Grounds breeding service. One credit is intended to cover one successful vehicle breeding generation.
Credits:
- are linked to your Breeder account;
- have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money;
- cannot be transferred or sold to another user unless we expressly allow this;
- do not represent ownership of a real-world vehicle; and
- may only be used through the Breeding Grounds service.
We may introduce, change or retire packs, prices or promotional offers. Changes will not retrospectively remove credits that have already been validly purchased and credited to your account, except where necessary for legal, security or fraud-prevention reasons.
4A. DAILY FREE BREEDS
Eligible Breeder accounts receive up to 3 free basic breeding generations per UTC calendar day. The free allowance is separate from purchased DNA credits and does not reduce your paid credit balance.
- unused free breeds do not accumulate or roll over to future days;
- the allowance resets at 00:00 UTC each day;
- after the daily free allowance is used, available paid DNA credits are used for further breeds;
- server-side controls determine which allowance is consumed, so the free allowance cannot be increased by changing the website interface; and
- we may change, suspend or discontinue promotional free allowances prospectively, subject to applicable law.
5. PAID BREEDING PACKS
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) unless stated otherwise. Payment is processed through Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details.
A purchase is normally fulfilled after we receive confirmation from the payment provider that the payment has been successfully completed. Your credits may take a short time to appear in your account.
If a payment succeeds but credits are not correctly installed, contact us at thebreedinggrounds@proton.me and provide the relevant account and transaction details. Do not send us your full card number or security code.
We allocate 30% of each successfully completed breeding-pack purchase to a Breeding Grounds AI Credit Fund. This is an internal operating reserve used to help cover the cost of AI generation and vehicle research services used by the platform. It is not a separate customer charge or a payment made directly by you to an AI provider.
6. FAILED OR INTERRUPTED BREEDS
We aim for every paid breed to produce a successful creation. If a server-side failure occurs after a paid credit or free daily allowance has been reserved and the breed cannot be completed, our system is designed to return the reserved allowance where technically possible.
A paid credit or free daily allowance is not intended to be permanently consumed merely because a request fails due to a Breeding Grounds system failure.
Where a generation completes successfully, the credit is considered used even if the resulting AI artwork is not exactly what you personally expected. AI generation is probabilistic and visual results can vary.
7. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION
Consumers may have statutory cancellation and refund rights under UK consumer law. Those rights are not excluded by these Terms.
For digital purchases, the law can affect cancellation rights once digital content or services begin to be supplied, particularly where the consumer has expressly requested immediate supply and acknowledged the effect on the cancellation right. Where applicable law requires a particular consent or acknowledgement, we will use the appropriate checkout or purchase process.
If you believe you are entitled to a refund, or if there has been a payment or fulfilment error, contact us at thebreedinggrounds@proton.me. We will consider the request in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the purchase.
Nothing here limits your statutory rights concerning digital content or services that do not conform to the legal standards that apply to them.
8. AI-GENERATED CONTENT
Breeding Grounds uses AI systems to research vehicle information and generate creative vehicle imagery and related content. AI output may contain inaccuracies, unexpected details, visual artefacts or invented elements.
Vehicle specifications displayed by the service are provided as part of the creative experience. They should not be relied upon for purchasing decisions, mechanical work, tuning, safety decisions, insurance, legal compliance or road use without independent verification.
Breeding Grounds does not claim that an AI-generated vehicle is endorsed by, affiliated with or manufactured by any vehicle manufacturer unless expressly stated.
9. YOUR UPLOADS AND USER CONTENT
You retain ownership of content you upload, subject to the rights needed for us to operate the service.
By uploading an image or publishing a creation to a Breeding Grounds community feature, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, display and reproduce that content as reasonably necessary to provide and promote the relevant Breeding Grounds features.
You confirm that you have the necessary rights to upload and use material you submit. Do not upload confidential, unlawful or third-party material where you do not have permission to use it.
10. BREEDING GROUNDS CONTENT
The Breeding Grounds name, branding, interface, software, visual design, written content and service features belong to us or our licensors, except for third-party material and user-owned content.
You may use your generated creations for personal and social-media purposes subject to these Terms and any rights belonging to third parties. You must not present Breeding Grounds branding, software or service content as your own proprietary platform.
11. VEHICLE MANUFACTURER AND THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS
Vehicle names, trademarks, logos and manufacturer intellectual property may belong to their respective owners. Breeding Grounds does not claim ownership of those third-party rights.
You are responsible for ensuring that any commercial use you make of generated content does not infringe third-party intellectual property, publicity, trademark or other rights.
12. COMMUNITY FEATURES
Community posts and shared creations must be lawful and reasonably respectful. We may remove content that is illegal, abusive, threatening, hateful, deceptive, infringing, sexually explicit, spammy or otherwise unsuitable for the service.
We may moderate or remove community content without guaranteeing that every item will be reviewed in advance.
13. SERVICE AVAILABILITY
We work to keep Breeding Grounds available and reliable, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service. The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, third-party outages, security events or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Third-party services, including payment, hosting, database and AI providers, may also experience outages or changes that affect Breeding Grounds.
14. LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where the law prevents exclusion.
Subject to those protections and applicable consumer law, Breeding Grounds is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, loss of business, loss of opportunity or loss of data that could not reasonably have been expected from your use of the service.
Our service is a creative digital product. You should not rely on generated vehicle information for safety-critical, financial, legal, engineering or roadworthiness decisions.
15. CHANGES TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS
We may improve, change or discontinue parts of Breeding Grounds as the product develops. We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will take reasonable steps to make the updated Terms clear to users.
The version in force at the time of your use or purchase will normally apply to that activity, subject to any mandatory legal requirements.
16. PRIVACY
Personal information is handled in accordance with our privacy practices and applicable data-protection law. These Terms do not replace our Privacy Policy.
A separate Privacy Policy should be published before full commercial launch.
17. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you rights that cannot be displaced by this choice of law.
If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK in which you live, where applicable.
